Specialising in primary care-giving for babies and children 0 to 3 years old, Portobelo Otaki Street opened February 2010. It has two sleep rooms, an infant area for non-mobile babies,and an art room, separate cafe, and group time room for the older children. It is a purpose-built facility, joined to the Wesley Street Preschool by a walkway. It is on large rear section with trees, natural open spaces and grass to encourage exploration of the environment and is set up to provide opportunities for the children to challenge themselves developmentally.
